Maternal Fakocity

The Dorothy-13 drone stirred to life, lights flickering on behind its optical sensors. From the data scrolling past it became immediately clear that something was definitely wrong. All around the wreckage of ark ship Kansas was burning. The Dorothy-13 stood up, looking at the charred bodies the ships crew, its life sign detector reporting that there were no survivors. The drone had also been damaged in the crash, and was currently only able to see in greyscale, its nanobots already scrambling to repair the problem.Following its programming the Dorothy-13 collected the T.O.T.O Black Box and pushed the emergency release on the nearby hatch. The ship had crashed in the middle of a settlement, tiny shell liked huts piled on top of one another. The drone detected hundreds of creatures hidden in the shadows, watching. Nearby, the ruby clawed feet of a large reptilian animal protruded from beneath the ship.A second later the tiny unseen creatures swarmed from their warrens, chirping excitedly. At that same moment the nanobots finished their repairs and the alien planet exploded into colour…
As you may have noticed that this comic has a bit of colour in it. Along with this first hand drawn comic, I’ve also updated the site with a colour version of my last entry, so go and check it out!
Personally, I think the revelation displayed above makes far more sense than the actual identity of the final Cylon.
I mean, look at the checklist:
He’s a robot.
He’s designated ‘Number 5’.
His colour scheme would fit perfectly into the BSG universe.
Will all future hand drawn comics be in colour? Will I continue my sci-fi Wizard of Oz story? Will I watch Short Circuit again?
All these questions may (but probably wont) be answered in the next exciting episode of Maternal Fakocity.

The Dorothy-13 drone stirred to life, lights flickering on behind its optical sensors. From the data scrolling past it became immediately clear that something was definitely wrong.

All around the wreckage of ark ship
Kansas was burning.

The Dorothy-13 stood up, looking at the charred bodies the ships crew, its life sign detector reporting that there were no survivors. The drone had also been damaged in the crash, and was currently only able to see in greyscale, its nanobots already scrambling to repair the problem.

Following its programming the Dorothy-13 collected the T.O.T.O Black Box and pushed the emergency release on the nearby hatch.

The ship had crashed in the middle of a settlement, tiny shell liked huts piled on top of one another. The drone detected hundreds of creatures hidden in the shadows, watching. Nearby, the ruby clawed feet of a large reptilian animal protruded from beneath the ship.

A second later the tiny unseen creatures swarmed from their warrens, chirping excitedly. At that same moment the nanobots finished their repairs and the alien planet exploded into colour…
