So, it’s taken me awhile to get to this subject, as I still had left over Christmas comics to post. Essentially, one of my Twitter buddies, Nick Hac, filmed Sydney’s finest in action on his Blackberry. The coppers in question then demanded he hand over the phone, despite his claims that he didn’t consent to his phone being searched, and proceeded to illegally delete the video from the phones memory.

Regardless of the situation, it’s outrageous that police behaved in this manner. If you can’t trust the law enforcers to uphold the law, then how can you possibly trust the system. Quis custodiet ipsos custodes, etc etc etc…
